How is HOME different from FACE and RESTORE?
RESTORE, FACE and HOME share the same panel size but differ in treatment modes: FACE treats aging skin and acne, HOME treats aging skin and pain, and RESTORE treats hair growth, aging skin and pain.
Is HOME battery-powered, and how long does a charge last?
Yes. The second-generation Celluma HOME is battery-powered and should be used right after charging: a full charge provides three to four thirty-minute treatments. If HOME sits unused for more than a couple of days, it needs to be charged again before use.
Can I travel with HOME?
Yes. HOME is lightweight and portable, and ships with an international adapter kit. For travel outside the United States, check the correct power source and electrical input first.
How close should HOME be held to the skin?
As close as possible. Celluma's patented shapeable design lets HOME contour closely to the treatment area, within an inch or less, which may lead to more effective results.
Are there any precautions before using HOME?
Celluma publishes the same precautions for HOME as for the rest of its LED range: avoid use with photosensitising medication (wait three to five days and consult a doctor after a photosensitising prescription), avoid use if the patient is on injectable steroid medication, avoid use over a pregnant belly (the face remains permitted), avoid use with a history of epilepsy or seizures, and avoid use over a cancer or known metastasis without prior medical clearance.
