How it works
LIPANOVA uses D-MED's Cellitium blade technology to micronise adipose tissue at different particle sizes. Thousands of micro-blades fragment the tissue with precision; D-MED states this preserves tissue viability while increasing the yield of free stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells, cells rich in mesenchymal stem cells that the blades isolate in a viable state. Depending on the clinical objective, D-MED states this micronisation produces either a volumizing fat graft or a regenerative, fat-derived therapeutic effect, and the blade calibre used sets the size of the graft extracted.
