How it works
PV 200P is a 10 ml glass tube that arrives with two things already inside it, a separator gel and a sodium citrate anticoagulant, and Silfradent states the output in the same sentence: liquid plasma PRP. That is what separates it from the empty tube of the same range, which yields a solid clot instead. What happens after the draw belongs to the centrifuge, and Silfradent fixes it rather than leaving it to the operator: the product page lists three predefined programs that cannot be edited, CGF, PRP1 and PRP2, and the Instructions For Use describe a PRP cycle selected on the panel apart from the CGF one and divided into two centrifugation phases. Tubes are filled outside the machine, never in the rotor, and they go in so that each one faces a counterweight of the same mass, up to eight at a time or in groups of two. Silfradent tells the operator to use only the test tubes it recommends in this centrifuge. Beyond that, Silfradent publishes nothing of the tube's own: it names no clinical indication for the PV 200P and records no mechanism of action for it, and the uses listed above are those of the MEDIFUGE CGF system this tube is published under.

Is PV 200P a type of PRP that competes with CGF?
It yields liquid plasma PRP, a different output from CGF; Silfradent's Concentrated Growth Factors protocol is a distinct autologous technique, never described as a type of PRP on this site.
Does PV 200P come with the CGF K1 kit?
No. The consumables table of Silfradent's Instructions For Use lists only the PV 200R against that kit. PV 200P is ordered on its own, in packs of 20.
Which program does the tube run under?
The MEDIFUGE CGF page lists three predefined programs that cannot be edited, CGF, PRP1 and PRP2, and the Instructions For Use describe the PRP cycle as divided into two centrifugation phases. Silfradent publishes no duration and no speed for the PRP cycle itself, so none is given here.
How many tubes go into the centrifuge at once, and how are they loaded?
Up to eight, or in groups of two. Tubes are never filled inside the rotor, and Silfradent asks for a symmetrical load, each tube counterbalanced by another of the same weight.
Does the tube carry a class or a marking of its own?
Silfradent publishes a Class IIa and a CE marking for the MEDIFUGE CGF centrifuge these tubes are spun in. It publishes neither for the tube, and none is claimed for it here.
What should be checked before a tube is opened, and what happens to it afterwards?
The expiry date printed on the packaging and the integrity of that packaging, each time before use. A used tube is hazardous medical waste, not general waste.
