How it works
ZHydro is a sheet of biocellulose laid on the skin, and what it does is the work of the actives it carries. Zimmer names three of them. Aquaxyl replenishes and holds moisture in the skin's own reservoirs, strengthens the skin barrier and reduces transepidermal water loss. An amino acid complex supports the formation and preservation of creatine, which Zimmer describes as an energy source for skin cells. 2D Hyaluronate hydrates across several layers and stimulates the formation of procollagen. Zimmer states that together these take the mask past plain hydration and into the skin's own structure, raising resilience, firmness and vitality over time.
