In the room

Why this system

Electromagnetic muscle stimulation

More than 30,000 muscle contractions in a session of 30 minutes or less, delivered across 8 channels and 16 electrodes, with a choice of 15 protocols.

Shares its chair with ContiCure

ZTone uses the same chair, article 3211, as Zimmer ContiCure.

Practice value

  • ZTone and ContiCure use the same treatment chair, article 3211. A clinic that later wants to add pelvic floor therapy does not need a second chair in the room, see the module below.
  • ZTone's own incontinence upgrade is a separate hardware path from Zimmer's Gentle Pro plus ContiCure combination protocol, which is a clinical pairing for erectile dysfunction and pelvic floor training, not a body-toning one.
The detail

What to know

Already running ZTone? Add pelvic floor.

The incontinence upgrade kit adds an applicator and uses the existing chair, article 3211, so a clinic already running ZTone does not need a second treatment room. The upgrade kit carries none of ContiCure's own clinical documentation; the CIMEG white paper and Zimmer's incontinence protocols belong to ContiCure, whose product page has the full detail.

One chair. One room. Two patient populations.

Does ZTone treat incontinence on its own?

No. ZTone is a body-toning device. Incontinence therapy is delivered by ContiCure, reached from ZTone through the incontinence upgrade kit and the shared chair, article 3211.

Is ZTone made by Zimmer?

It is sold within the Zimmer portfolio, but the manufacturer is Remed Co., Ltd of South Korea, under the original trade name Perfect. It is not German-made.

How many contractions does a ZTone session deliver?

More than 30,000, in a session of 30 minutes or less, across 8 channels and 16 electrodes.

Can a clinic add pelvic floor therapy to an existing ZTone?

Yes, through the incontinence upgrade kit, an applicator added to the existing chair, article 3211. Full clinical detail is on the ContiCure product page.
