Incontinence & Pelvic Floor

Two manufacturers, routed by patient, not compared against each other.

The mechanism

Overview

Two patients open most incontinence conversations in this portfolio: the woman rebuilding pelvic floor strength after childbirth, and the man managing incontinence after prostatectomy. DNA Nexus carries systems for both, from two manufacturers. The routing below follows the specialty making the referral, urology or gynaecology, not a comparison between products.

For urology

  • Zimmer ContiCure. Post-prostatectomy incontinence. Delivered fully clothed, with interchangeable patient inlays to adjust position.

For gynaecology

  • Zimmer ContiCure. Stress, urge and mixed incontinence, and postnatal pelvic floor recovery.
  • MoreNova PRO / MoreNova DT. Stress urinary incontinence.

FAQ

Is there an incontinence treatment for men?

Yes. Zimmer ContiCure is indicated for post-prostatectomy incontinence in men, delivered fully clothed.

Is there an incontinence treatment for women?

Yes. Two manufacturers offer it: ContiCure (stress, urge and mixed incontinence, postnatal pelvic floor recovery) and MoreNova PRO / DT (stress urinary incontinence, women aged 20-75).

We already have a ZTone. Do we need a new chair for incontinence work?

No. The ZTone incontinence upgrade kit, article 3211, adds an applicator for your existing chair. That is the same chair ContiCure uses.

Does the ContiCure clinical study cover sexual function?

No. The white paper covers urinary incontinence only; ContiCure makes no sexual-function claim.

How long does a ContiCure session take?

20 to 30 minutes, no clothing removed, no downtime. Zimmer recommends 8 to 10 treatments.
