What it is
These are automatic, electronically controlled injectors, built by AAMS to replace manual syringe technique with a set dose, flow, depth and speed. CONCERTO is dual-function, mesotherapy and carboxytherapy in one handpiece. ULTIM is a dedicated mesotherapy injector. Carboxy-Pen is a dedicated carboxytherapy injector. CONCERTO and Carboxy-Pen are never presented as the same device.
DNA Nexus carries three AAMS injectors on this page, and none is ranked against another. The choice is which modality, or which combination of modalities, a clinic wants to offer from one handpiece.

What's the difference between CONCERTO and Carboxy-Pen?
CONCERTO is a dual-function injector, mesotherapy and carboxytherapy from one handpiece. Carboxy-Pen is the dedicated carboxytherapy device. They are not the same product.
Does CONCERTO need proprietary cartridges?
No. It takes any standard needle and syringe.
Is ULTIM used outside aesthetics?
AAMS also publishes rheumatology, osteoarthritis, tendonitis and sports medicine applications for ULTIM, on the manufacturer's own material.
What certification does Carboxy-Pen carry?
Class IIa medical device, CE mark number 36455, with a two-year warranty, as published by AAMS.
